Took another sick day.
I wasn't feeling any better when the alarm went off this morning so I called in sick. There are two other assistants in our group, and one of the others also called in sick today. Thankfully half of the lawyers in our group are out of the office this week, travelling (including my boss) so hopefully Laurie will have a quiet day at work today. ( Read more... ) -

I went out birdwatching this morning with my co-worker Deb. It was a gray, cold morning (only 5°C) but the wind was very sharp and bitter. I hate being sick
The cold I brought back with me from Cambridge has sunk its nasty little claws into me now and won't let go. A sniffly/stuffed up nose, sore throat, and swollen lymph nodes along the right side of my neck are my main complaints. My tiredness and lack of energy don't help, either.
