Saddam executed
Holy crap. I didn't think Saddam would actually be executed. Link.
Even though there is no doubt he is guilty of some of the most heinous crimes, I don't think sentencing him to death will actually change anything in present Iraq. It is the end of an era that has already passed. -
Feeling a bit better

At home feeling ill...
First, it took me 45 minutes to get out of bed this morning. Lately it's been taking me about 15-20 minutes to get up, but during that time I'd listen to the radio and then the news at 6:30 and then get up. Snow
There was snow on the ground this morning when I got up. Not even a real layer of it, just pockets here and there on the lawn, and on the rooftops. It melted by the time I got home - we actually had sun today for a change! - but still, I'm not looking forward to three months of winter. I started Tigana last weekend - it's my first time reading Guy Gavriel Kay.
I'm only on page 246 of the paperback, but I'm already in love. His writing is just so eloquent. -
