The week of my birthday was rotten.  We lost Todd, our guinea pig, for no reason that either of us can see and had a lot of pain over it. Colin is an awesome boss and his daughter is in the office today as she has a PA day...she's 10.  She's shy but opens up after a while.

She is doing my scanning and faxing for me ;) I am taking pleasure in the fact that someone so young and adorable is enjoying doing my job for me.  What a darling.

It made me smile in an otherwise crappy day.

We are exhausted.  After two weeks of battles with the people upstairs and the landlord who thinks he's done nothing wrong, we are back and forth staying at either Greg's parents or Frank's basement apartment (he rented a whole house and it has the world's tiniest apartment in the basement.  We can't live there full time but it does get us out), we ( Read more... )
