Locations
The city of Pareidolia is divided into Four Districts, separated by rivers running through the city, but linked by bridges. Below is a rough map of where the districts lay in relation to each other.
The Central District is Pareidolia's town square where the other three districts merge. It contains a large park which circles a large fountain in the center of the entire city. It is here that characters first arrive, standing by the foutain.
The Residential District contains all of the housing for the occupants of Pareidolia, both permanent and not. The buildings are mostly apartment buildings, though there are a few houses, most of which are rather large, and a number of small convienience stores.
The buildings in which characters will be living are apartment blocks not unlike those in the image. Each building has six apartments - each apartment has four bedrooms, and a communal bathroom, kitchen and living area.
The Pareidolia Hospital is also found here. The hospital is run by the people of Pareidolia, and while it employs the technology of the modern world, it cannot be guaranteed that you will find the best aid there.
The Shopping District consists mostly of an enclosed arcade which contains a variety of shops and restaurants that residents of the city are able to frequent. Outside of the arcade, there a more shops, though they are mostly small, family owned stores or one of the two large supermarkets. If they wish, residents are even able to run businesses of their own.
The shopping district is also home to an abandoned Police and Fire station. They look as though they may once have been in use, but not lay empty and locked up.
The Recreational District contains various places where residents can occupy their time. There are a number of small cafes and libraries, a large sports center, a theatre which doubles as a cinema, as well as various other recreational centers.
The Docks can be found on the edge of all of the districts. There are a number of boats moored at all of the docks and while they probably won't get you anywhere, you're welcome to try as often as you want.
