help! Hair advice needed.
I am in such a style rut! I desperately need direction. My hair is SO BORING. I have been trying to grow it out but the past six or eight months I have hated how it looks. I think I maybe look best with short hair but I really want the versatility that long hair allows.

things are looking up!
1.) Greg got a job! He starts at best buy on Sunday. The employee discount (cost + 10%) will be very nice. I am going to get myself a tablet, a point-and-shoot camera and some camera lenses (if I can find any), a record player, some computer components, and a new tv or monitor. vegetarian ethics/alberta health care gripe
You know what sucks? Every day I take msm/glucosamine/chondroitin pills to combat joint pain and last night I read on the bottle that the chond. comes from ground bovine cartilage. GROSS. Now it raises veggie ethics: do I keep taking the pills (even though I am grossed out now) because I can't afford to buy veg-friendly msm-only pills for a ( Read more... ) -

Today was my second day as a barista. I got hired at a coffee shop (an indie one, but not indie in the cool, trendy way: I can't show my septum ring and we wear uniforms, and everyone who comes in is an office worker). good news!
We found a place! Main floor of a four-plex in Bowness. Kind of kitschy (or so Greg says) with a fireplace, nice balcony, no carpets (hooray!), no pet deposits (double hooray!!), a fenced yard, a large kitchen, two bedrooms, etc. Very excited ( Read more... ) -

It's so frustating! The majority of the replies I've gotten have been Nigerian-style scams: "my family and I aren't in the country, we have moved to Africa, and to get the keys to our house you must pay us $600 USD. victory!
well, kind of. I just got the wireless set up right (using my router, which I found today) and although the internet signal is kind of patchy at least I have it beamed out to my home-bus! This means I'll be able to do my photo a day with more regularity and it just makes everything easier in general. Hooray!
