Yeah, that would probably be a helpful course of action. (I think he may give it a rest after this, actually). And I suppose in this universe he didn't say "just following orders," so he had to say something else awful eventually to balance it out.

He is just so bad at not censoring himself, or thinking before he talks. It can be endearing - bad pick up lines, what, and I really want him to be tipsy and try that on Erik, I've seen a fic or two but I want more because I can just see Erik's face - or annoying, or downright epically bad.
