after thoughts:
'denial and scapegoating' are typical tools used by the chinese government but i wonder how can they carry on with this when the flaws and erros are so not implicit?  they talk about 'shame' all the time but they don't seem to feel any of it!

this film by michel gondry is one of my all-time favourites. it was played on channel 4 last night, i watched it and was surprised that i was still moved by it; although the intensity of my emotions was much different from my last viewings. i think it's just a wonderful film, especially when it's incorporating some poetic images like the scenes by ( Read more... )
