New Home
I love my new apartment. It's in a beautiful area, it's a lovely apartment, I have a gorgeous bedroom and best of all I don't feel like my life revolves around work now. It takes me 5 minutes on the bus to get to work (20 minutes walk) not the 60 minutes on the bus I'm so used to ( Read more... ) -

I had a good ol' reliable phone for many years. MANY years. You know what that means, it's outdated - doesn't have any of the new fun little gizmo-ey things new phones have these days. The only thing other letting my phone down was the battery. By the end of the day - each day - it was done. If I was out until 9pm or so, the battery would be flat ( Read more... ) -

I arrived in Brisbane 9am local time.
My father died peacefully last night. He never work from his coma.
The funeral is Friday. -

Doctors are very pessimistic at this stage. They aren't willing to operate because the bleeding is too severe and instead are holding him in the medically induced coma until (their) morning and seeing what happens when they try to revive him ( Read more... )
