there is something almost biblical about taking a swab of bacteria, dropping them on a nutrient-rich agar plate, watching as they fill the plate to capacity, and then killing the weak with a strong antibiotic.

wow, im actually passing molecular biology!

not only passing! but im getting like a B, or an A! im not sure yet. it'll be one of those.

that was the hardest test ive ever taken. so much detail. crying. cringing. oh, it's good now.

running!

i've run 30.6 miles in the past 3 days.

yesterday i ran for 12.8 miles. it was amazing. afterward, i felt like i could run it again.

i love running in the upper peninsula. there is a beautiful bike trail that runs for at least 15 miles along the shore. yesterday i ran to the cliffs. next time ill run to mt. marquette.

today i trained a little on a treadmill. i just have to say, i think a little more highly of treadmills than i used to. i used to just think of them as fuel for the mindset that one needs equipment and technology to stay fit (and they still are), but they are a great training tool ( Read more... )
