A single man
I watched A Single Man tonight. It was quite extraordinary in that it clearly tells a sad story but the film itself is actually quite uplifting but still true to that story. I can't think of any other film that pulls off such a task ( Read more... ) -
Not dead yet.
I've had mostly the same issues for years but it's strange how some days those problems seem monumental and insurmountable and other days they are trivial and achievable. Still breathing
It's been so long I don't know where to start. The new job has been going alright. The food is a ton better that's for sure. We're plenty busy on the weekends but Monday and Tuesday have sometimes been a struggle.I'm buying a house although I can't quite believe I'm adult enough to do that. I'd thought about abandoning this journal. Not leaving my inner turmoil on display to anyone who happens onto this url. My last entry was even a good way to end. Not a happy fairytale ending but a little more hopeful.

Perspective
After living with cats for almost a year now I'm impressed by just how... catlike they are. Every movement, sound, and expression has 'cat' written all over it. They have a clarity of purpose I'm really quite envious of.
