I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who groans when a link off the CNN main page leads to a video (or, even worse, an iReporter video of some random person nattering on about something they have no real knowledge about). I can skim an article and get the salient points in 15 to 30 seconds -- a flipping video is going to take its full three-and-a-half-minute run before I get all the information out of it. Argh!

Of my kids? Not on this Internet. :) Seriously, I don't think predators are as big a problem as all that, but I also don't see any reason to give strangers videos (or photos) of my children. Granted this means that I need to get off my butt and optimize some photos for e-mail distribution ... hee.

News? You're right. But, as you can see from my last update, I will post vids that make me laugh, because comparing a wild cockatoo barking back at a pug dog to grainy online video of car bombings in Kabuhl, I'd rather laugh at the dog.
