I don't know what brought this about really, but I'm trying to get back to my design roots. I broke out the sewing machine and the serger and I've been off for a few weeks! I passed.stressful day filled with anxiety!
1. It's the first day of school. My son, who's not quite 8, started grade three today. I don't think it would've been so bad if he'd been at the regular school building, but they're renovating it this year, so have moved all the primary (kindergarten to grade 3) to a different school building. OMG! I can eat solid food! *loves Advil*Today is just epic fail.
I"m exhausted. I took the kids at work to Wonderland yesterday (a huge amusement park) I volunteered to stay beyond my paid time so they could enjoy the day there. Well, that wasn't a good idea apparently. I ended up hit, kicked, spit on, and pinched so hard I'm now black and blue (all the same kid). I went to the bank yesterday to put money on my loan. I reach into my purse for wallet, look in wallet and discover that my bank card is gone. This isn't a huge thing as sometimes when in a hurry I just throw it back in purse and it floats around at the bottom...not this time! It's gone. And I know why. Tonight is the 1 year anniversary of my attempting CPR on a car vs. pedestrian and failing. The man, who was the same age as me, died that night. I didn't even know the guy, but have since learned that many of the people I work with had gone to school with him and knew him well. It was weird to drive past where it happened tonight.
