Tamora Pierce has been my favorite author since pretty much the beginning of time. Her Lioness Rampant series sucked me in and much of her subsequent novels have been equally good. Evil Piazzas
So Piazzas are evil. There should be some sort of picture next to a dictionary definition that states such a thing. When I'm writing, it's like a roadmap that I sort of follow. The character's want such and such to happen and I write it down. Then it gets to the point when, as an author, I've got to strong arm things in order to make the story at least a little comprehensible.
