I don't think I'm logical enough to make it as a lawyer. I can barely pass an LSAT practice test. My life is an upset!

...On the other hand, I totally have the sexiest schedule for the next four months. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30-2? WTF do I do with the rest of my time? Cook? Work? Study so I can pass them classes? Eat cheese...

Potential roommates can be freaks. Out of the 90 people who responded to my roommate's Craigslist ad, I've weeded out the twenty best. Then I saw three people...all bizarros. I hate Berkeley sometimes.

In the last month and a half:

• I've begun and finished two three-unit classes. B+ and a B. I can live with that.
• I've moved into a new place on Derby and MLK. My room is HUGE. It's five blocks further away from campus. I can live with that.
• ...The new roommates, though? Big potheads. One's from Bali, a jewelry maker and totally quirky. The other, James ( Read more... )

LOL so after six days of excruciating frustration and a lot of back-and-forth and visits to the Berkeley Rent Stabilization Board and getting screwed a few times...

- I am still homeless
- ...The homelessness has just been prolonged a bit. To June 5th.
- I want to die.

I get the feeling that if I am ever stuck in an emotional jam and feel like I want to die, I will turn to this for comfort.
