Supposed to visit DC this weekend. Am not sure what to do because of the hurricane. Should I reschedule? I'd hate to miss out on any of my visit. But I don't want to be an idiot, either. -

Last call for people interested in coming along to the launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis, scheduled for July 9! I'm leaving the evening of July 7 and coming back the evening of July 10. Earthquake

With much due respect, after a few days of house-cleaning, I think that being a housewife constantly would exhaust me. Running nuclear reactors and particle accelerators is easier.
Oh yeah, and happy International Women's Day, and a few more steps toward a world in which each of us can freely choose to pursue either, or anything else we wish. -

Something I learned through observation tonight at work:

There's a sale for Chicago to Portland flights if I buy by TODAY, for travel between now and May 14. Would I be able to stay with someone--and would anyone want to hang out?--if I made a visit?
