All this talk about "floods" and enforced honesty intrigues me. I can only guess I remain unaffected due to the fact that I'm honest 99.9% of the time. Most people tend to forget this as I like to dress my truth up in hideous metaphors and accessorize it with as much swearing and unique insults as I can manage. If the truth is a tool, then lies are a slinky. They might look useful, but the only thing they're good for is distracting or frustrating someone.

I was going to add something to that about throwing people down stairs, but that doesn't have anything to do with lies or truth. That's just fun.

Lies are useful for quick fixes and manipulations. The truth can't stay hidden forever. In most cases, lies will only make things more complicated in the end.
