I might have been exaggerating for effect. Poetic license and shit. I'm pretty sure it's not festering. Typically I remember hygiene often enough to avoid that particular condition. Unless I'm working on some fucking epic piece of journalism, of course, in which case a little festering is a small price to pay for pure brilliance.
