Strange thing happened last night: My father calls me out of the blue, last time I spoke to him was about 10 years ago. Talked for a while, and the big question came up. I answered honestly. He took it surprisingly well.
As for me I think I am still in shock about the whole experience.

Congrats man! I was also estranged with my mother and since 2003 we have reconnected. Not as long as you before, 10 years.

I'm glad things have worked out well for you and your dad. My family has pretty much come to terms with me being in a same sex relationship. Duncan is a pretty popular guy with my family.

He really knows nothing about the last 30 years or so. We hardly ever talk, and in the past I never really had any inclination to speak to him. So.. =D/
