Yesterday we spent most of the day inside watching 'Modern Family' despite the fact that the weather has cooled off significantly and we could have been wandering the streets like nomads. So, last night was rather a success, as far as dinner parties go when you can't really talk to or understand your guests. I wouldn't say my Chinese is 'coming along'...but perhaps it's making the first few shuffling steps toward being almost 'on it's way'.

So, today...Started as usual, but this time after irritating dreams. Then we went to a local gym and I signed up for a year's membership - quite affordable. It's a pretty nice place with a pool and all the various...stuff that gyms have in them
