So, I finally started at Hampton Court Palace doing Tudors in 1543 (specifically, the day of Henry VIII's wedding to Katherine Parr). It's an amazing site and Past Pleasure provide an absolutely amazing presentation there. In the three days I've been there so far I have played three different roles, but for all that I was annoyed at myself for ( Read more... )

Honey, can you recommend to me any cool medievalesque bands (not ceiledh!!!) Am looking for some really vibrant players, who can do a good 2 hour set, of a variety of traditional english, irish, scottish and welsh music, and who definately will go the whole hog and wear medieval or high fantasy costume. Am pretty sure that with your contacts you will know one or two!!

Oh and they need to be reasonably priced too.
