I am watching this cool show on Athenian democracy. It seems that in ancient Greece, at the age of 6-7 years old young Athenian girls were expected to make a 2 day journey to a certain sanctuary where they lived for a year as wild animals. I have been watching the news reports on the President of Iran. On the one hand, I think the introduction given by the President of Columbia was awful and disrespectful. On the other hand, Ahmadinejad's positions and responses are pretty awful as well. I just can't imagine questioning the Holocaust. Especially when much of the information we ( Read more... )

I saw an awful article in the Wall Street Journal today about Bruce Wilkinson. He is the author of The Prayer of Jabez. He had a grand plan to help AIDS orphans in Swaziland.
