Had my first colonoscopy today. The preparation, while not easy, was easier than advertised. The hard part for me, as usual, was the needle for the IV, the anticipation of the procedure once there. This morning I had a McMuffin with nothing but bacon. And a McDonald’s medium premium roast coffee. It was so good.

Watching the Amazing Race after having watched Survivor. Having Marco’s pizza (mushroom + spinach) and Caesar salad. And lots of wine!

This weekend was our first Community Carnival at church since 2019.

COVID took away so many things. It was good to have this one back.

Afterwards, I went to the Northwest prom.

I truly enjoyed both of these things.

Today was Zeke's birthday and they unexpectedly came to town to play Monster Mini Golf. Afterwards, we ate at Red Robin.

For the past two days I have been helping Jason redo their porch. And today, I tried Zaxby's Spicy Signature Chicken Sandwich.

Both of these things were very good.

I learned equinox on my ranger today.

Yes, this is my first entry in a million years.

This weekend I got to see lots of family for the first time (in a long time) at Aaron and Sarah's baby shower: Nana, Ron, Aaron, Sarah, Kyle, Kim, Jason, Heather, Joel, Rose, Seth, Zeke.

I was looking up Beatles songs and about to text Wendy on Tuesday night when I got a call from Mama that a Smitty, a close family friend, had passed away. Smitty had been in poor health for some time.
