Summary: Set in The End. When Cas dies the last thing he thinks about is Dean and the man that he’s become by 2014. It’s a story told in of how they’d gone from angel-and-righteous man to the barely recognizable people they are on the day they die. What started out as a partnership against the incredible odds slowly gets turned into a co-dependent hateful mess.

Because in a lot of AOB fic, Jensen is either a professional overcome by his genetic need to breed, or a fifteen-year-old girl, but rarely both.
As evidence, I present this line:
Jensen giggled to Jared, "Do you see a lot of fainters?"
-- just one among many in the first part showing what a perky little girl nurse!Jensen is, especially on first meeting tall, dark, handsome, and sleazily flirtatious Dr. Jared.
I gave up soon after that gem. I know, I know, well-written mpreg and or AOB breeding fic longer than blindfold length is rare. But I'll keep looking for some rather than suffer through seven LJ parts (plus epilogue) of giggly Jensen and "for young readers" (except for the cursing) style prose.

I love A/B/O verses and I was so excited about this one. And yet I wound up giving in not long after you did. Jared was a sexist douchebag who was all "ugh, don't get your omeganess near me go back to the kitchen and get knocked up like you're supposed to" and Jensen was all peppy and GIRL POWER except that he was an omega and all. And apparently, despite growing up in a society that thought that omegas had a social responsibility to keep themselves at home while on their periods heats, he somehow misses the fact that it's the 15th of the month and thinks that it's the 5th and freaks out because OMG! His heat ( ... )
