Summary: There aren't too many positives about agreeing to be strapped to a comet, but one of the bigger ones is that Castiel at least manages to keep Jimmy asleep and unaware most of the time - so when Jimmy suddenly finds himself wrenched awake mid-battle he knows this has to be a bad sign. Their attacker is a wild card in the angelic war, one who believes she's the only one truly fighting for the humans, and to that end she's developed a new weapon: a way to enchant her sword so that it can kill an angel without having to sacrifice the vessel. And she's made Castiel her first test. With Castiel wounded Jimmy's forced to take control, and he and Dean set off on a desperate road trip to the security of Bobby's safe room.
Summary: Jensen's used to doing all kinds of things he'd never do for anyone else for Jared--favors, weird adventures, trips to the human world--but this takes the cake.

~Spoilers
Fluff with virtually no conflict. The world the author created is really interesting (with Jensen as a shifter and Jared as a small Sasquatch), but 4,000 words isn’t nearly enough to explore the idea properly. Jared adopts a kid because he thought it would be ‘fun’. They take her trick-or-treating and act all domestic-y. They’re best friends but apparently oblivious to each other’s orientations, because Jensen freaks out when Jared casually mentions he’s gay. Except Jensen is gay too and when he comes out to Jared it prompts them to start kissing. The end.
It’s a quick, easy read but I'm left feelign like I read a random excerpt from a larger story. I guess the author does mention that they had bigger plans though, and it kind of shows.

I really liked this. Poor_Choices always writes great dialogue. Whether it's in a conversation or just them thinking to themselves. It's smooth, and not stilted crap, that you feel like no one outside a twelve year old would say. I have to admire that(especially as someone who can't write dialogue without it sounding like that teacher from the Wonder Years).
I do agree that it feels like it needs more(or I just selfishly want more). It might be that it's been long enough since I've seen monsters, I really had to think about some of the stuff that because of length she may have relied on being built in from the movie. Also, I was being a bit of a dumb ass- I bookmarked the chapter when it came up but by the time I got around to reading, I forgot it was a j2everafter for monsters inc. I was totally confused with the Jensen, putting on Jared's face, part.
Summary: Jimmy is warned by Castiel to protect his family from a new threat, leading the Novak family into a race against time itself, to flee across almost Apocalyptical landscapes. Title comes from the song of the same name by Papa Roach
Summary: They cast Lucifer back to Heaven but left behind Sam Winchester, five years of his life gone and dropped into the middle of a post-apocalyptic world. The survivors are scared of him, his brother doesn't seem to want him, and the only hand extended is that of an ex-angel.
But just because Lucifer is gone, doesn't mean the world is safe. Croats and demons still walk the surface. And Chuck still has one more prophecy to write.
After the second rise and fall of Lucifer, a dragon will be born that will scour the Earth of evil, leaving it for the survivors of humanity-- Those who have fought to the end and proven themselves worthy.

Well, it's endverse, so it's 2014 Dean. And for being an asshole, he's kind of an understandable asshole for some of the plot points. He doesn't automatically welcome Sam back, and has a hard time even speaking to him.
I read this, found the story kind of odd, but don't have the time to do a full summary now.

Like the anon above me said, Dean is his assholish 2014!self which would be fine if he didn't spend most of the fic ~sky-diving. For a story that has Sam being mysteriously returned to Camp Chitaqua, there's very little Dean presence, which doesn't make sense for the setting or the the story set-up.
Anyway, I was pretty disappointed with this one :(

Dean drives fast, but angels are faster.

Summary: "You're a genie and you live in Chad's bong?" Jared asks stupidly.
"It's a lamp," the genie replies. "It's a goddamn lamp!"

I read this as "in Chad's dong" and was excited about a genie who lived in a dick. Now I want that story. :(
