A few things as of late.
In terms of weighty topics, I've been trying to cope with Jacob's death just like everyone else. I've decided that I'm really going to give Nick some stuff to work with (like I've been promising forever) so that he can finish the comic that him and Jacob started. Well, I guess I have the dubious distinction to be the first one on my friends list to make a post about this.
This morning, about 6:30, Jacob Balmer (Jukob) and his brother Isaac, were trying to cross the East Beltline. A car swerved to avoid the two, but hit Jacob. He got thrown about 30 feet from the car and died at the scene.

I wrote most of this when I should have been sleeping.
Well the next few weeks are going to be quite an exercise in abstinence. No, not that kind of abstinence. I'm talking about abstaining from drinking at bars (or much at all), smoking jukes, using gas, eating anything besides home-cooked food, and pretty much any sort of entertainment in general.
