A New Monitor!!!! YAY!!! My other one died around Feb. and I have been using Eric's old one ever since. It took up my entire desk. I could not even sit my keyboard on the desk, it either sat in your lap or on top of the monitor. I now have a beautiful flat screen monitor again! It's a Family thing!
Family is gone..at least for now:) More are coming this week. We celebrataed Aelx's first birtrhday on Saturday. He had a cake and we got out his pool. Sweet Tooth
We recenlty discovered Alex has a bit of a sweet tooth. He has a slight penchant for chocolate, which isn't good since small children's systems are not developed for chocolate. We were leaving chuch on Sunday, when Eric picked up a chocolate covered strawberry. Alex took it from him and shoved it is his mouth. He got chocolate all over his nice ( Read more... ) -

Please, can I just fast forward to June...too many things still to accomplish in May. I have to clean like mad and plan meals for next weekend. A lot depends on when my Uncle Jim and Aunt Mary are coming from TX, so we can make a mad dash home to see them. I need to make Alex's cupcakes and possibly freeze them. Death Comes Unexpectedly
(points if you get the movie reference) It has been a rough 7 days. A good family friend passed away unexpectedly last week. After spending the remaining days in the week rearranging schedules, I was able to take my folks to the funeral on Saturday. Eric wanted to go, but his brother was in town, so he stayed for him. clean it up
new washer. My old one quit last Firday in the middle of the cycle. I luckily got it to drain and finish the load before it was put out to pasture. It wasn;t that old-between 10 and 15 years, but the gal at Sears said the life span of a washer was 10 years. Despite the fact that I do enjoy a good Indiana ribbing...Parks and Recreations sucks.....it sucks ass. horribly horribly written and acted. The guy with the mustache is the best part and that isn't saying much
