i got the job at new choices and start orientation tomorrow.  it's starting to hit that i'll be in the QC for quite awhile, especially if for some reason the peace corps doesn't work out.  my goal is to really make this my home by getting engaged in the community more.  the job will help since i'll be working with disabled individuals in the area, ( Read more... )

one of the very few places i applied to called for an interview today!  this made my week.  if i were to get the job, i would be helping mentally and/or physically disabled people learn some of the necessary skills to gain independence.  i'm having a hard time finding available jobs that don't clash with some ideal or another, so fingers crossed on ( Read more... )
