So how is everyones gardens growing? I've had a *really* hard time with my boxes. I'm not sure what we did wrong, but everything would grow perfectly and then when the leaves got big, it would start to die out. The leaves would turn yellow and then get crispy edges and then the plants would die. Or just sit there. Not growing a bit ( Read more... )

Hello all! My name is Gwen and I live in Dallas, TX. I am going to plant my square foot garden tomorrow with the assistance of my wonderful man, Davy. I'm not sure which vegetables I'm going to plant; I'll just take a browse tomorrow at Whole Foods and see which seeds look good ( Read more... )

The Square Foot Garden is looking much the same as before, only now it is totally full of dirt. I'm planting stuff next week. Onions, Broccoli, Lettuce, Strawberries, Carrots, and maybe some hardy herbs. I also need to dig up all those Iris bulbs you see sprouting in the background there behind the yellow Daffodils, divide them, and replant them ( Read more... )
