A new study looking at the relationship between vitamin D serum levels and the risk of colon and breast cancer across the globe has estimated the number of cases of cancer that could be prevented each year if vitamin D3 levels met the target proposed by researchers.

A woman has been declared the new "Goldilocks" after she arrived home to find a one- to two-year-old bear happily eating oatmeal in her kitchen.  Apparently the bear entered the home through an open sliding glass door and came across the oatmeal  after breaking a ceramic food container.

Kenneth Thomson passed away yesterday.

Not only was he Canada's richest man, he was also extremely generous in the philanthropy community.

In 2002 he donated 2,000 art pieces, with a value of $300-million, to the Art Gallery of Toronto.

That's pretty amazing when you think about it.

He'll be sorely missed...
