Independence Day and memories
Why is that the 4th of July always brings out the best of summer in all of us? Corn on the cob, hamburgers, spirits, family, friends... it is all so iconic. Tech-no-mo-snob
I was chatting with a group of people and the subject of internet fads came up. Someone exclaimed, 'oh my god, remember livejournal?! that was the shit because you had to get invited in!' Of course I immediately pipped in that I still use it, to which a vacuum apparently sucked all the oxygen out.

My personal thanks
We look now to Barack Obama to help guide us to better days. Like so many others, the first time I heard of Mr. Obama was at the Democratic National Convention in 2004, in our own gorgeous capital, Boston. Obama spoke of a new America - one where red and blue states were gone and instead the UNITED States of America would emerge.

Halloween Fun
I'm at work right now. We have our gallery opening in two weeks. Panic has set in. We got the mayor of Beverly coming though, so that's a win, right?
I have been partying it up a bit too much, though to others I'm sure it would seem lame. I mean, I'm only going out a couple times a week, but from nothing to something, well, I guess it's significant.

Fall mini-update
Work and school, school and work. My schedule is exhausting, actually. It makes me look forward to the winter break already.
So, some random notes:- Work is kicking into full gear with our transformation into an art gallery around the corner
