My Gran passed away after surgery last night.

A snowman stands
A winter guardian agains the impending thaw
He suffers the snowballs and games
Of well-natured children
Its is a life of solitude and servitude
But ends with the romance of a warm sun
Signalling the beginning of a new cycle of life

I quit the airport today... and I actually feel sad...

I will miss the people but not the job.

I got the job at iinet that I applied for. Starting the day I was due to go back to work from holidays, so I still get the rest of the 3 weeks off I had. This is good news, as I hate the airport with a vengeance and only ever want to go back if I'm going overseas.
