In our Western culture men are brought up to be tough, stoic, show little emotion and put on a brave face when confronted with difficulties. This is especially important around other men - it's not encouraged to be the weak one around other men for some reason. This last week I've been reading over old posts, messages and comments. In the past I would have felt wracked with guilt over the things I've said, done and failed to do. Christmas was one incident too many. Natasha and I are now going to move to a new house on the more quieter part of town. It will be a pain because the rent will be 3 times what I'm paying now and we don't really need anything bigger than we have got now. On the plus side the house has a fence around it and a pool.

Two Saturdays in a row I'm spending sitting through weddings. I'm sick of people asking me "When are you two going to be next?" and "So when is it your turn?" etc.

At least this weekend I'll get to catch up with lots of people I haven't seen in forever.
