Well, the announcement has been made. The decision about Prop 8 will be announced this coming Tuesday, May 26.

Across the country, there are rallies and marches planned for that day, so if you're interested in attending one, visit the Day of Decision website.

Aaron said this morning that he bets we will get an announcement today that the decision will come tomorrow, and honestly, I have to say there's a really good chance he's right. I doubt they'll wait until the final week (next week) to announce it, and I knew they'd do it during my graduation week, which makes attending ANY of the events impossible ( Read more... )

Well, we've been expecting this for a while, but we got official word today that our trip to Oaxaca is cancelled by the University because of the Swine Flu. On the plus side, I get my money back and the airlines are allowing flight modifications for tickets, so I should be able to get that back as well. It was 87 degrees today in San Francisco, so instead of doing homework, I actually acted like someone who lives in San Francisco, and went to Sunday Brunch followed by an afternoon in the park overlooking the downtown skyline.
