I am soooooo excited about this! :D :D I can't wait to get started!
Two quick questions: 1.) What are the rules on screening votes? Yay, nay, somewhere in between? 2.) Is there some sort of "No Vote/Please Expand" option? I only ask because a lot of traditional stamping communities only require one-word answers, and that can make for a difficult decision.
1. Feel free to screen your votes at any point in the voting process. It's your app- it's up to you whether you want people to be able to be sheep or not. And sometimes when you think they're being sheep you learn they're not- that happened to me at hh_stamping with my nearly unanimous Hermione vote (wut, me, bossy?) But it's entirely personal, to screen or unscreen
( ... )
Awesome! I know the process can be confusing to people who are new to stamping. My first experiences were Harry Potter sorting communities (H_E and HiH) and when I branched out into regular stamping, I felt like I was either writing a novel or that other people weren't writing enough (usually both!) so I'm sure a guide would be really helpful for a lot of people.
As always, you rock, and thanks for all your hard work! :D
HI! Im totally new at stamping, never done it before, so please excuse my probably very obvious questions, but rather be double sure before trying this. :)
What if more than one application, in the round, sounds to me as the same character? I mean, Could I vote for McCoy, for example, in more than one application now? or should I choose someone different?
And What if I'm not sure, should I answer "no Vote" (like says in the rules) Or could I just skip some applications??
To answer your first question, yes, you may vote for more than one person as the same character. It's completely up to you. Just as an example, in the Harry Potter stamping community I mod, I'm one of like 200 Hermiones.
For your second question, yes also. The No Vote option is there for exactly that purpose. If you can't decide, you should still vote, but maybe by voting "No Vote" you'll let the applicant know that he or she needs to elaborate a little more to be stamped.
