It's the end of July! This pains me greatly. It's just that much closer to cold, unpleasant weather, and I'm already stressing myself out thinking about how we won't be able to go on a vacation to warmer climes in January/February. Ugh.

Abel is no longer the official new cat! After almost three years of New Cat status, his title has been usurped by a small, previously homeless, wary-of-people New Cat. Oh holy crap how cutely awesome are these?! Tiny jar pies!!

Baking! I'll be doin' it! Probably not those right away as I have lots of other things to try first, but they're on the list.

I've just discovered that the top bracket on the right side of my mouth that the "tough elastic" is wrapped around is no longer attached to my tooth. I suspect that this is going to negatively effect my prognosis. GAH!

We'll find out tomorrow when I call and let them know about this unfortunate circumstance.

So I went to the orthodontist last Thursday and he did a few tweaks and said "almost! come back next thursday" so I did. Today, he said "almost! come back next thursday" so I will. I'm very close to done, though. I know this because the back lower 2-3 teeth on either side of my mouth have been cut out of the process. The brackets are still on, but ( Read more... )
