I'm at my internship now. Today is Day 2 and they are already struggling to find stuff for me to do. The people are very nice, minus my go-to guy who I find to be perhaps the most irritating man I've ever met. i leave wednesday for benning. i'm very very very excited for my internship because it sounds like the best thing i could possibly imagine. i get to work on a "special project" with JAG (the military lawyers) and then i do other projects with some professors. plus i will be living in the barracks with latin american soldiers and i can pt with them ( Read more... )

I am so completely lucky to have such a wonderful boyfriend. He's been waiting on me hand and foot since my surgery and it's been really nice to have him around. I'm doing surprisingly well (knock on wood), but I'm still feeling pretty weak and I can't stand up for very long without feeling like I'm going to pass out. i'm having my tonsils taken out tomorrow. not gonna lie, i'm really scared. it's a short surgery but is "very bloody." i'll be laying in bed for at least a week so please feel free to call or come and visit to keep me company. :)
