Today, I bought a XM satellite radio receiver for my car! I've thought about getting one for a while, then realized I had to have one now, today, this second, after talking to my brother. Radio stations in Austin generally suck, except for NPR, KGSR sometimes, and that student radio station. Oh, and Jammin' 105.9. duh.

Yesterday, at the doctor's office, a nurse measured my height and weight. The weight I knew- I've lost a few pounds since my last visit a couple months ago, without really trying. That's always nice.

I just realized I have a full month before I have to start back preparing for the new school year. A month of no work! I'm going to visit family at some point, but I can only stand about 3 days in East Texas and/or Houston. That gives me approximately 24 days free. I've never had a summer off like this before. The 37 year old emailed me back and he was all, 'Huh, nothing's wrong- I didn't get your text.' Then he called me and we talked for a bit.

He's okay. I'm such an overly dramatic girl.

Next Wednesday starts my official summer vacation. About a month off, and I'm not sure what I want to do with it.

While driving around today, I saw a girl in a pink El Camino. It gave me strong car lust and I want to be friends with the girl driving it.
