It's finally happened! Stalbot allowed me, during his waking hours, to put him down and get some stuff done! His stripy chair is apparently no longer anathema. He just spent the best part of an hour in it, while I revelled in my glorious freedom by making a loaf of bread, doing the washing up, scrubbing the kitchen and sweeping the floor. As I commence writing, it is 05.25. I have been awake since 02.20. And strangely, for someone who loves her sleep as much as I do, I don't even mind.

Move imminent.
Haven't died - just no time for updating.
This will be rectified after Friday, however: Friday being Move Day.
Currently, we live amongst boxes and sustain ourselves entirely on paint fumes...
...We are knackered...

Buzzards and Utter Bobbins....
I visited my father for tea today. We have a regular Wednesday night thing going on these days. He makes tea in his extremely precise fashion (75cl of water, two teaspoons of Darjeeling, three dips of the tea net and a Holyrood china cup) and we sit in his living room eating whichever fancy cheesecake he has managed to sniff out this week.
