OoOoOoo... i have a question for ya... you left a post on how youre going to korea for a semester. i really would really love to go to korea or japan for a semester or two when i get to college. however, that might require me to go to a certain college that includes exchange programs in asia.. i guess im just wondering how you went about it...
HI! sorry it took so long to reply (i was on a little vacation). But yeah I went through ISEP (www.isep.org), they have a connection with my school. Many schools have excellent study abroad programs and where it's (fairly) affordable, because pay your (USA) school's tuition and fees. And also the financial AID still works.
But I suggest, just looking around. And asking to speak with International Student Affairs office at the university.
i am going with steaky to ewha, we got in through ISEP, which is International Student Exchange Program. go to www.isep.org, you can see if there is a school you'd like to start out at in the U.S. that works with the program. it can be pricey. the application is $250. our school helped us out with it, and we only had to pay $100.
hey steaky...it's me from the korean community...remember... bus rides...ahhaha...anyways .. all of a sudden i am interested in going back to korea...either to teach or maybe go to school like you...but what i was wondering what made you decide on ewha instead of yonsei...and is there someone i can call to get more info...
i am sure you are bombarded with questions...but i can give a little take a little...hehehe...ask me about korea....
Hi! Sorry it took so long to repond (I was on a vacation). And YES I remember you!
This is a good place to start when looking at Yonsei and Ewha (its condensed so easier to compare) http://www.isep.org/nus/korea/index.html there are also links to english and korean written websites of the schools linked.
But I chose Ewha over Yonsei because they have a better (from what I can tell) art program. Also, there women studies program looks interesting. Overall, I just really love what Ewha has to offer (it seems phenomonal, really!)... and Yonsei really didn't give me the pitter-patters. hahah
If you have anymore questions feel free to ask. And I'm still waiting for a bus ride story. :)
