Hows this for a surprise!? Just like driving through your old neighborhood...somethings have changed and some are still recognizable. I must say, growning old isn't what I invisioned when I was in my late teens or even in my mid 20's. Oh well, the show must go on even if the set list is draggin. -
Between the wheels
I'm in one of those moments where I feel something is going to happen...something bad. I haven't had this feeling but usually I am right on about these things. Maybe I'm just bored with life? Maybe after realizing that at 35 my life has been, for the most part, a waste of opportunities, I am beginning to self destruct. -
post-Riverfront...
Last night's gig was a mixed bag of emotions. I really enjoyed the band's energy but was a bit dissapointement at the execution of our performance. Still, we took the gig without rehersing for a few weeks. Not to demean the Riverfront, but at this point in our lives, playing there is just a glorifiyed practice for us. Homecoming!
A momentary breeze from the usual gusty whirlwind that work, domestic life, school and the band brings on has given me time to do something I really enjoy and haven't done in a while...WRITE! First rats...now brats!
I'm really bummed out as to what has been going on at the university I attend. We had a "minor" rodent problem earlier in the semester. Now the entire campus has been shut down due to to some derranged individual(s)threatening student's lives on April 14. I never would expect something like this at SXU. Different Stages
Day one; 2 mile run; 50 push ups; 30 crunches (barely); and weight training. The bad part: my meals have been terrible. Breakfast: coffee and toast. Lunch: Maxwell style Sausage and half a bag of Doritos. Add to that a liter of water and a few cups of coffee in between the meals.
