All that fuss I made earlier in the year, about being ill, not knowing what was wrong, going to see a specialist ENT doctor for the "ear infection" and the dentist, asking if there was any reason for it, perhaps my wisdom teeth? I have been offered two jobs in Dorset. Although I don't plan to live here, it's good to know... I could rent a flat in London, to live at on weekends and holidays, then stay weekdays at my parents' house. I have a friend who does similar with his job at Bournemouth uni. I was sorting out my wardrobe, figuring out which clothes went where, and what needed unpicking and sewing up with additional material, when I found these trousers that I made when still feeling the after effects of a trip to Nottingham to see an exhibition about communist design and engineering, among other things.

I get it done on time. I might not be that busy right now but, I've done all the paperwork that is required of me. I find it an advantage to be able to cope with bureaucracy. I find it difficult to spell the word bureaucracy. I get it right after a while.

I'm going back on to my restrictive diet because I got all manner of health problems from drinking too much beer and eating croissants. The most irritating one is the constant ringing in the ears, from a yeast infection after the docs gave me antibiotics. It's really terrible! With capital letters. Sometimes, I forget what it is. This is why, I need to do the following things this summer:

Make my own wine from grapes

Go to free wine tasting venues on a regular basis

Make nettle soup from wild nettles

Go camping

Make a puppet show

I feel rather excitable. I'm moving to London again and I'm going to spend my summer chilling out before I embark on a really heavy workload. The workload will be enjoyable, however. And it all leads towards a qualification! This qualification is above the level of a degree, which will make me suitable for more of the jobs that I want to do ( Read more... )

Now that I am sorting things out I am calming down. Life isn't as stressful as it was. Which means my ear infection is disappearing. Which is good!
