It's been a little over 2 weeks since I finished reading Radical and at the end of the book, David Platt proposes an interesting challenge he calls the "Radical Experiment". To put it briefly, it's a year-long commitment to do five things:

Three weeks ago, I learned some news that threw a major wrench into my mission trip plans.

The Zambia trip has been cancelled.

The summer countdown has officially reached the single digits! I honestly can't believe that this year has flown by SO fast. I guess, looking back, a ton has happened during the school year and I've kept myself so busy every afternoon and weekend that I've just constantly been on the go. I suppose that helped the progress.

My cup overflows.

There's no longer any need for the fundraising thermometer! :) Two months after initially sending out my support letters, donations have poured in and I now have above and beyond what I need to cover expenses for my trip to Zambia. Since October, Thursday nights have become one of my most anticipated nights of the week.
