Sorry, discharged. We're expecting him home before lunch tomorrow.

As many of you noticed, I snuck my laptop into the hospital earlier. He's smiling, chatting and giggling occasionally, but not yet cackling while planning world domination. the poor typing quality is mostly due to a "not quite right" keyboard, it being awkward and uncomfortable with needles in the back of the hand, and people making you laugh.
