Construction started at 7am this morning right outside my window. I wasn't too pleased. Today was my day to sleep as late as I'd like. It's snowing in Jerusalem!!!! It's so beautiful and peaceful. I stood outside in the middle of it. I had a moment with a guy in dreadlocks and a short-sleeve shirt.

I've never lived anywhere where it snows before! I've been in NYC when it has snowed, but this is the hardest I've been in.

It's exciting!

I spent a wonderful Shabbat here in Jerusalem. On Friday a bunch of friends and I went to the shuk (an outdoor market). I love going, especially on Fridays, because it is filled with so many people buying ingredients for their Shabbat dinners. In my Ulpan class we took a fieldtrip to do some "archeology." It's not actually classified as archeology because it has already been removed from it's original place. That's right. In 24 hours I will be at LAX waiting to board my redeye flight to Newark. I have a 6 hour layover there, but it will merely provide me with enough time to not feel rushed.
