Christmas music is not good running music
Week 2 day 1 last night. It's still pretty easy running - just 90 second intervals interspersed with 2 minutes of walking, so I'm trying to build speed. I alternate running an 11 min/mile pace with a 12 min/mile pace (and walked at 17 min/mile pace). That doesn't really seem like that much....on the treadmill it's the difference between 5.5mph ( Read more... ) -
Here we go again.
Every once in a while I get the urge to run a race. Not a long race mind you, just a 5k. So I decided to start training.....again. This came about much later than my start last year so I'm a little worried by the time I get through the regimen (the Couch to 5k program) we'll be past prime race season. But that's ok. didn't make it tonight.
Supposed to run tonight. I Tried. I ran a little over a mile. Ben wasn't feeling well though, so he wasn't really able to run. I ran ahead of him but I found myself looking back to check on him.
