Feeling exceptionally restless and anxious this afternoon. Worked an opening shift today, 6:30 til 2pm, and am still hanging out at work to use the internets and drink free soda. Coming home from a friend's place in center city, it'd been raining all day, and had just gotten windy in the past few hours, and I was in a part of the city with trees who's leaves had actually changed, and thanks to the rain and wind, the leaves blanketed the street, I mean, totally blanketed the ground. On Tuesday nights I work at a drop in center, staffed by one particularly talkative, annoying douche. She usually gets here before everyone else and plants herself in front of the computer, which I generally don't mind, cause if she's stationed there it means that I can get relief from her by going in a different room. The beating itself, as it happened, wasn't terribly painful. Just loud. Getting it in the head is extremely loud. It was just blasts of sound inside my head, like television static, but deeper.
