More Jasmine...
Jasmine's fourth tooth finally made an appearance last night after a couple weeks of fussy sleep.
And even more exciting she finally took her first independant, unassisted steps on July 6th. She's now up to 16 before she falls on her butt. :) -
Jasmine update
As of February 21 Jasmine started rolling over both directions.
Last night I thought I finally felt a tooth and this morning I was able to see it just barely poking out of her gum. :) The funny thing is it's not one of the teeth that usually comes in first ... it appears to be a canine and usually the front teeth come first. -
More Jasi firsts...
Jasmine has been grabbing onto things that come in contact with her hand for a while now. But in the last couple days I've started to notice her actually reaching for things. She still isn't very good at actually grabbing them yet but when she is successful everything just goes straight into her mouth. :) -

Yesterday Jasmine rolled over from her stomach to her back all by herself for the first time ...then she lay there cooing on the floor! :D -
A momentous first...
Jasmine slept through the night last night! Seven hours straight! A friend from church told me that babies often have to hit a certain weight before they can do this. Yesterday Jasmine hit 12 pounds which is what at least one source cited as the common point for babies to sleep through the night ( Read more... ) -

Jasmine is getting so talkative! She has been vocalizing like crazy the last couple of days. :)
Also, a couple days ago she started trying to lift her legs as if she was trying to walk across my lap. -
another first
This morning Jasmine held her head up at a 90 degree angle from her tummy! And I think she's starting to try to laugh, or at least squeal. :) -

This morning Jasmine smiled at me for the first time! :) -
She's finally here!
This has been the most pain filled, sleep deprived week of my life! Yet I can only think of one or two other times in my life when I *might* have been happier than I am now and they both involve Greg. I take it back, when I consider how much closer I feel to Greg because of our daughter this is far and away the greatest week of my life ( Read more... )
