Week 38 Update - Still Pregnant
Greg starts most days by talking to my stomach and telling Jasmine that "it's time to come out now!" I think he may be even more excited for her to be born than I am if that's possible. Congratulations to the Crums!
Ashleigh Christine Crum was born at about 9:50pm on Thursday, September 18th by caesarean section. She weighed in at approximately six pounds.

Week 36 - Less than 4 weeks till D-day!
(D-day being "Due Day.")
I am now in my ninth month.
I am due October 14th, now less than 4 weeks away. I will be "full term" (meaning Jasmine won't be considered premature if she is born) next week. I'm predicting that Jasmine will be born October 16th. This is a rather auspicious date because it is the anniversary of my grandfather's passing. ( Read more... ) -
First Preggo Class
Tonight was our first birthing class. We're starting a little late so it's possible we may not even get to finish if Jasmine comes early. It looks like a good chunk of the information will probably be review for me but if tonight's class is anything to go by at least half of it will be helpful... and they gave us a pretty good book to take home ( Read more... ) -
Week 35 Update
Had a doctor's appointment today. Jasmine was positioned head down, ready for birth. Hopefully she doesn't change her mind about her position before then ( Read more... ) -
Week 33 Update
I'm now into the third trimester. Seven weeks to go. Less than two months. We start taking birthing classes in two weeks.
What's new with Jasmine....
Not much new to tell. She's pretty much all there, just growing.
She doesn't kick so much anymore, mostly because she's running out of room. She does seem to spend alot of time rearranging ( Read more... ) -
(Almost) Week 30 Update
I'm just wrapping up my 29th week of pregnancy. I only have about ten weeks left. Frightening. Even more frightening... it's entirely possible/reasonable that I might go into labor sooner, like in just seven weeks. That's less than two months away! Eeep!! Week 25 update
I have been able to feel Jasmine kicking, rolling, punching, and being an octopus since Mother's Day. It's only getting stronger and she keeps finding new ways to beat me up from the inside. Sometimes it actually feels a little uncomfortable (like when she's kicking my bladder, my bones, or near the cervix) but I must admit that it gives me a ( Read more... )
