"When Shinpachi's involved, there's always a story." Fox half groaned, flicking his tail back and fourth on the ground. "While I was trying to drag him off to the bathroom his date came over and thought that I'd like, killed him or something. Then everyone ended up throwing up everywhere and... Yeah. So how was your night?"
"Hang on a second," although all signs pointed otherwise, that wasn't a thinly veiled excuse not to talk about Garrus' night. He was genuinely intrigued.
"How the hell do you go from dragging a kid to a bathroom to everybody throwing up?"
Fox rubbed his forehead, apparently trying to get his thoughts in order. He'd tried his hardest to forget that night, and for good reason.
"It came down to us actually being concerned that maybe Shinpachi was dying or something, because his dumb ass never woke up so she was all panicking. It came down to me trying to give him CPR, mostly so she'd stop freaking out. Thats about when the puking started."

Of course, Fox wasn't about to let it die that easily.

"Is there a story here?"
Of course there was-- whether McCloud would tell it or not was the real question.
