Rules of the Game
01. Be literate. We understand that English might not be your first language, but we request that you have a decent, understandable grammar and a good grasp of the English language.
02. Absolutely no god-moding. God-moding means, in short, controlling another player's character without their permission. And remember that IC knowledge is NOT OOC knowledge. What you, the player, might know, the character doesn't always do. Never assume anything about another character, and be sure to always get permission before releasing sensitive information about a character.
03. You must be at least 14 to apply.
04. All mature content material has to be friend-locked and there has to be a proper warning.
05. The fourth wall is unbreakable. That is to say, your character cannot know of the existence of any other character through any media (for example, TV, movies, etc). YOUR [PLAYER] KNOWLEDGE IS NOT THE CHARACTER'S. Do not mistake OOC with IC. What you know, your character doesn't necessarily know.
06. Go FAQ yourself before asking any questions.
07. Keep all OOC drama out of here. It's a given that some people can't get along with others, but don't bother others with your problems. Talk it over, ignore each other, as long as you keep the drama out of the community.
08. We understand that, in multifandom roleplays, cliques usually form (sometimes by accident). We've found out that the solution to avoid this is to interact with everyone else! Genius, isn't it?
09. We also understand that over the course of gaming, characters develop relationships. While we are accepting of everything, we won't stand for paedophilia or rape. All mature actions must also be consensual on both parts of the players.
10. Please keep all smut logs out of the main community. We're here to focus on the plot.
Concerning Characters
01. You are limited to eight characters, and only one per fandom.
02. There can only be ten characters per fandom.
03. There can be only one version of a character in the game. No, there will not be allowed existent AUs; if there's a FFVII Cloud, we will not accept a Kingdom Hearts, movie or Crisis Core one.
04. Currently we are not accepting original characters and all characters can be canon-only. We do not accept AU versions of characters. However, younger or older versions of characters are accepted, as long as their basic isn't altered and it sticks with canon.
05. We don't want any random bystander to be used as an avatar. Prove to us that the character does have a personality and a story. We need more than a name, we need a solid, established canon character. Not someone that randomly pops up in a certain panel. The exception is made for characters who the fanbase considers to be worthy of mention.
06. You must wait at least one week to be able to apply as another character. Otherwise, your application will be ignored.
Gaming Instructions
01. Again: no god-moding. Just because you're character is over nine thousand, you're bound to be kicked in the nuts once in a while.
02. All mature content must be kept under a f-locked entry. All mature activities (sexual, gore, torture) must be consensual. Otherwise, you'll be in trouble. Don't harass the other players if they do not feel comfortable about a certain kink of yours.
03. Male-pregnancy/Female-Female pregnancy is not allowed. Penis and vagina make a baby. Nothing else.
04. Your character can only be resurrected five times. Death also brings consequences. The first death will disable the character for 72 hours. The second death will keep it under 1 week. The third death will strip the character from all abilities it had for one month (and 1 week of inactivity) - if the character had no abilities previous to this, s/he will either lose sight or hearing for one month. The fourth death will permanently strip your character from any abilities it had and one week of inactivity is applied. The fifth death will make your character a Dirge Childe every full moon. The six death is permanent (it will make your character turn a Dirge Childe forever).
05. We'd rather not have AIM logs, but if you do post them, try to organize them a little. Avoid them if you can.
06. Threads on the roleplay community should have the following format:
Title of the post (Active/Complete/Dropped)
Character(s): Name (
Location:
Content:
Warnings:
The title of the post can be anything (try to make it relate to the thread). Active means that the thread is still on-going, complete means it's done and dropped means that the thread is not complete but it's not going to continue.
Character(s) is who is participating, using their names and usernames. ADDING you can also create an open thread, meaning anyone who wants can join.
Location is for you to tell us where and when this is happening.
The Content is what is happening. A summary of what is going to happen, or what is happening.
Warnings: If there is sexual, offensive or otherwise mature rated material, give out a shout for those more sensitive. Don't forget that, if R-rated, F-LOCK THE THREAD! But keep in mind we'd rather you keep the smut logs to yourself.
